Ask yourself: What information am I providing?
If you are working on a business account, the majority of your posts should be providing information to your followers. While writing content, ask yourself “would this inspire me to visit this establishment/buy this merchandise?” If the answer is no, rework your copy until you are completely confident in it.

While promoting on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook is very important from a business standpoint, you should be active on as many platforms as possible. If you are a small firm wanting to gain notoriety, update your LinkedIn with every press hit, blog post, etc. If you are a restaurant and your main priority is customer service, responding to Yelp review should be an absolute priority. It may seem meticulous at first, but you will soon realize how impactful staying updated can be.
Create a Call to Action
At the end of the day, it all boils down to engagement. It is crucial to inspire your followers to tag a friend, click that link in bio, swipe up, etc. When you are planning out your content, strategize the best way that you can get your followers to engage.
